Velvet Solitaire
Settle into classic Klondike on a green felt table, with one- or three-card draws, hints, undo, and no time limit.
How to play
Build the seven columns down in alternating red and black. Move a single card or a correctly ordered group. Only Kings can fill empty columns. Build each suit's foundation from Ace up to King. Tap the deck to draw one or three cards; when it is empty, tap again to recycle. Tap a card and its destination or drag it. Tap the same selected card again to send it to a legal foundation. Collect all 52 cards to win. There is no time limit.
Controls
- Mouse or touch: drag a card or ordered group, or tap a card then its destination
- Tap the same selected card again: move it to a legal foundation
- Tap the deck or press Space: draw or recycle
- H: hint; U or Ctrl/Cmd+Z: undo
- Tab or arrows on the table: choose a card or pile; Enter: select or move
- P/Escape or pause button: pause; sound button: toggle sound
Tips
- Prioritize moves that reveal a face-down card.
- Save empty columns for Kings and the groups they lead.
- Some shuffled deals cannot be won. Undo, replay the same deal, or start a fresh one.
About Velvet Solitaire
A quiet, carefully drawn Klondike solitaire table. Arrange the seven columns in descending order and alternating colors, reveal hidden cards, and collect all four suits from Ace to King. Choose a gentle one-card draw or the extra planning of three-card draw. Drag cards and ordered groups, or tap a card and its destination. Unlimited undo, legal-move hints, same-deal replay, and a paused timer let you take your time. The standalone play page saves your deal between visits. When every card is exposed and the deck is empty, Finish collects the remaining cards. Deals are shuffled at random and are not guaranteed to be winnable.
