Midnight Ledger
Swipe numbered ink stamps together on a 4×4 ledger, scoring merges while keeping room for the next stamp.
How to play
Swipe with your finger or mouse (or press arrow keys / WASD) to slide all stamps in one direction. Equal stamps merge into their doubled value and score points. Each valid move adds one new stamp to a random empty cell. The run ends when the board is full and no slide can change it.
Controls
- Swipe / Drag: slide all stamps in that direction
- Arrow keys / WASD: slide once per key press
- Pause button: freeze the game
- Mute button: toggle sound
Tips
- Keep your largest stamp anchored in a corner and build a descending edge around it.
- Try to leave at least two empty cells so an unlucky spawn can't trap you.
- A direction that changes nothing scores nothing and spawns nothing—don't waste slides.
- Sometimes skipping an immediate merge preserves better setup for future moves.
- Milestones (512, 1024, and beyond) celebrate progress but award no points; focus on merges.
About Midnight Ledger
Midnight Ledger is a slide-and-merge puzzle on a fixed 4×4 board. Every swipe slides all stamps toward one edge; equal values merge into one stamp of double value, adding that value to your score with a +N popup at the merge cell. After each board-changing slide, exactly one new stamp (usually a 2, sometimes a 4) appears in a random empty cell.
