Alpine Veer
Steer a skier down an endless slalom slope, threading every gate and dodging hazards while wind gusts shove you sideways.
How to play
Drag left or right anywhere on the screen to steer toward a target position, or hold the arrow keys (or A/D) to steer at full speed. Pass between the flag poles of every gate — a miss breaks a heart and resets your combo. Avoid trees, rocks and drifting snowmen; a crash also costs a heart and gives you a moment of blinking invincibility. Watch for gust warnings: an arrow announces each wind gust one second before it pushes you sideways. Speed ramps up continuously, with new hazards and gusts arriving every 15-second stage.
Controls
- Drag (touch or mouse): steer to a target position
- Arrow Left/Right or A/D: steer at full lateral speed
- Space or Enter: start / restart
- P or Esc or pause button: pause
Tips
- Start moving toward the next gate early — gates alternate sides, so plan the diagonal line between them.
- Counter-steer hard when a gust arrow appears; the push is strong enough to carry you past a gate.
- Chain ten gates in a row to regain a heart and rebuild your combo up to x5.
- Obstacle rows always leave a clear corridor along the line from gate to gate — follow it.
- Speed keeps climbing, so shorten your reactions as the run goes on.
About Alpine Veer
Carve down an endless alpine slope and ski through every flag gate. Gates alternate left and right in a true slalom, and missing one — or hitting a tree, rock or snowman — costs a heart. You start with three hearts; passing ten gates in a row wins one back. Lose all three and the run ends, with the cause shown on a card before your score.
