Ember Wing
Drag your jet through five stages of neon bullet patterns, graze shots for shockwaves, and take down each wave's boss.
How to play
Drag anywhere to fly; your jet sits above your finger and fires straight up. Line up under enemies to shoot them. Weave close to pink bullets to graze them — filling the heat bar triggers a bullet-clearing shockwave. Touch gold pods for extra shot streams. Avoid all bullets and enemies; three hits end the run. Clear each wave, then its boss.
Controls
- Drag (touch or hold mouse button): steer the jet; it fires automatically
- Arrow keys: move the jet (desktop)
- P or Esc: pause/resume
- Tap / Space / Enter: start or restart
Tips
- Your hitbox is tiny — brush past bullets on purpose to charge the shockwave faster.
- Grazing also scores +5 per bullet, so close dodges beat distant ones for score.
- Save your shockwave for dense bullet rings or the boss's spiral bursts.
- Grab pods early: extra streams fan out at wider angles, covering more of the screen.
- Each life lost costs one shot stream, so dodging protects both lives and firepower.
About Ember Wing
Ember Wing is a vertical neon shooter where your position is your aim. Drag your jet around the lower screen — it fires straight up automatically, so lining up with enemy formations is how you land hits.
Survive five escalating stages. Drones, weavers and turrets fire aimed shots, fans and bullet rings; clear each wave and a boss appears with its own pattern, from simple rings to dense double spirals. Every bullet that passes close without hitting you counts as a graze, charging a heat meter that auto-fires a shockwave clearing nearby bullets for bonus points.
You have 3 lives, a hitbox far smaller than your sprite, and gold power pods that add up to four shot streams (lost one at a time when hit). Beat the Stage 5 boss to clear the sector.
