Meridian Run
Race the clock along a coast road from sunrise to midnight. Beat each gate, ride a rival's slipstream and slingshot past.
How to play
Tap anywhere on the title, or press Space or Enter, to start. Hold a finger on the screen to accelerate and slide it left or right to steer; lift it to slow down. On a keyboard, hold Up, W or Space to accelerate, Down or S to brake, and Left / Right or A / D to steer. Reach each gate before the clock hits zero to add time, and stay off the walls and other cars, which cost time. Follow a car closely to fill the slipstream meter, then pull out to slingshot past.
Controls
- Accelerate: hold a finger on the screen, or Up / W / Space
- Steer: slide the finger left or right, or Left / Right or A / D
- Slow down: lift the finger, or brake with Down / S
- Mute: the speaker button or M
Tips
- Ease off before the tight bends: a wall touch costs a second or more.
- Stay 5 to 35 m behind a car to fill the slipstream meter, then pull out to slingshot past.
- Every split gate adds time, so a clean line through the first bends pays off later.
- Salt patches on stage 2 and the wet streets of stage 5 have less grip.
About Meridian Run
Meridian Run is a 3D arcade time-attack racer along one 8 km coast road, from a peach sunrise causeway to a neon city at midnight. Pick a paint on the showroom turntable, then drive five stages: Dawn Causeway, Salt Mirror, Golden Hills, Harbour Lights and Neon Midnight. The time of day changes in the tunnels between them.
The clock starts at 15 seconds. Every split gate and tunnel gate adds time, and every touch of a wall or another car costs time. Eleven rival GTs race ahead of you through the traffic: tuck in behind one to fill the slipstream meter, then pull out to slingshot past and climb from P12 toward P1. Reach the finish arch before the clock runs out to complete the tour.
