Overcrest Rally
Drive four rally cars across gravel, tarmac, dirt and snow. Read the road, find the grip and beat your best stage time.
How to play
Choose a stage and car, then press START STAGE. Hold the accelerator to move and steer manually; brake before a bend. Pacenotes show direction, distance and severity: 1 is tight, 6 is fast. Pass every checkpoint in order and cross the finish. Road recovery costs 5 seconds. Contact damages the car; retire at 100% damage, 24 seconds stationary or 210 seconds of stage time. Finish to continue to the next stage. Your best times are stored locally when storage is available.
Controls
- W / Up or GAS: hold to accelerate
- A/D / Left/Right or bottom arrows: steer
- S / Down or BRAKE: brake
- Space / H-BRAKE: handbrake for tight corners
- C / camera: chase or bonnet; R / pause menu: recover (+5s)
- P / Escape / pause: pause; music button: mute
Tips
- Brake before turning, then feed the power in as the road opens.
- The R4 Works is the balanced starting car. The RS Classic rewards careful throttle.
- Packed snow needs much earlier braking than tarmac.
- Every checkpoint must be crossed in order; cutting a corner across the verge will not skip a gate.
