How to play

Choose a course and press Tee Off. Use the club arrows or Q/E to choose a club. Set power and aim with the sliders, arrow keys or WASD. Tap the hole map to aim. The gold line previews a centered strike including wind and roll. Tap Take Shot or press Space to start the marker, then strike again in the gold center. Early strikes pull left; late strikes push right. Use a wedge from sand and a putter on the green. Water and out of bounds cost one penalty stroke and return the ball. At eight strokes the hole is picked up. P/Escape pauses; M toggles sound.

Controls

  • Touch: club buttons, power and aim sliders, hole map, two-tap strike
  • Arrows/WASD: aim and power; Q/E: clubs
  • Space/Enter: begin swing, then strike at center
  • P/Escape: pause; M: sound

Tips

  • A centered strike follows the gold preview, including wind and roll.
  • Use a wedge from sand. Rough reduces carry.
  • Use a putter on the green; uphill lies need more power.
  • A slow ball crossing the cup drops. A hard putt can run straight past.
  • Each course is par 12. A lower stroke total is better.

About Verdant Links

Take the scenic route through Saltwind Coast, Fernridge Hills and Ember Canyon. Each course is a three-hole round with a par 3, par 4 and par 5. Choose a driver, iron, wedge or putter, adjust power and aim, then time a centered strike. A gold shot preview and a tappable hole map help plan around water and bunkers. Wind bends airborne shots; rough and sand reduce carry, while greens let the ball roll and break with the slope. Hole out in as few strokes as possible, compare a scorecard with par and save a best round on each course. All courses are unlocked. Continue directly to another course after a round. Original procedural scenery and synthesized sound effects. No time limit.
