Herd Count
Count the target animals crossing the fence, tag them to remember, and tap your guess before time runs out.
How to play
A top banner shows the target animal for the whole run. Tap animals to stick a tally dot on them as a memory aid. Only animals that fully cross the fence count: reversers turn back and never count, deer and white-tailed hares are distractors, and goats count even though their tag pops off mid-jump. When the flow ends, tap your guess on the number pad within 5 seconds — the pad shows the actual target animal. Wrong or missing answers cost a heart; lose all three and the run ends.
Controls
- Tap / Click an animal: stick a tally dot on it
- Tap / Click a number on the pad: submit your count
- Tap / Click the pause button or press P / Esc: pause and resume
- Space / Enter: start from the title, restart from game over
Tips
- Watch the top banner so you always know which animal to count
- Tag animals early — goats lose their dot when they leap, so remember those yourself
- Reversers turn back and exit their original side, so they never count
- Deer are orange and hares have a white tail; both cross but never count
- From stage 4, goats count too — the pad asks for rabbits and goats combined
About Herd Count
Critters stampede across a meadow and over a wooden fence. Your job: count only the target animals that fully cross. A banner at the top of the screen always shows which animal to count — rabbits, and later leaping goats — with its picture and name, so you never lose track during the 12-second flow.
