How to play

Each pitch shows its full projected path before it arrives. Drag up-right in the lower area to set bat height, launch angle, and power — the arrow previews both good and perfect flight paths. More power narrows your contact zone but can reach the fence. Release once as the ball crosses the drawn contact zone to swing. Miss a swing or let a pitch pass for a strike.

Controls

  • Drag up-right, release: swing at the pitch
  • Space / Enter: start or restart
  • Pause / mute buttons: tap or click

Tips

  • Match your drag angle to the pitch's plate height — low, middle, and high pitches need different aims.
  • Use moderate power when you need a wider contact zone; go full power only when the preview reaches 240 ft.
  • Watch the late curve — pitches bend as they approach the plate, so release near the drawn center.
  • With two strikes, play safe with low power and a wide zone.
  • Start your drag as soon as the pitch appears; you have about 4–5 seconds of warning.

About Lantern Slugger

Lantern Slugger is a batting score attack on a dusk ballpark. You face 12 pitches, and every fair hit scores its flight distance in feet. Reach the 240 ft fence marker for a 200-point home run bonus, or land perfect contact for 50 extra points. Three strikes end the run immediately, so every swing counts.
