How to play

Tap the play area to drop, or drag and release to aim a celestial body. Two identical bodies touching merge into the next name in the visible numbered guide: Pluto, Moon, Mercury, Mars, Venus, Earth, Neptune, Uranus, Saturn, Jupiter, Sun. DROPPING shows your current body and its merge result; NEXT shows the following body. An older body above the dotted line for 1.8 seconds ends the run. Two Suns clear both and award 1600 points.

Controls

  • Tap/click the play area to drop; drag and release to aim
  • Left/right arrows or A/D: aim; Space or Enter: drop
  • P/Escape or pause button: pause; music note or M: mute

Tips

  • Follow the numbered, named merge order; you do not have to memorize it.
  • Read DROPPING, PAIR and NEXT before placing.
  • Keep matching bodies reachable and avoid trapping a small one.
  • Two Suns create a solar burst and make more space.

About Solar Drop

An untimed physics merge puzzle with eleven recognizable celestial bodies. Tap or drag on the play area to drop Pluto, the Moon and the eight planets, combining identical touching pairs into the next larger body until you create the Sun. Earth has oceans and continents, Saturn has rings and Jupiter has cloud bands. The numbered, named merge order stays visible, alongside the current body, what its pair becomes and the next piece. The sequence follows relative diameter, with sizes compressed for play. Keep the orbit chamber below its dotted limit. Two Suns burst together and clear space so the run can continue.
