Buzz Off!
Save your lunch from a hungry swarm. Swat darting flies, chain satisfying combos, and spare the bees across eight sunny arcade shifts.
How to play
Tap LET'S SWAT, then click or tap directly on the flies. A swing has a brief recovery, so aim each hit instead of holding or tapping blindly. Reach the displayed fly quota before the timer ends. Flies with red rings are about to eat: stop them before all five lunch portions are spoiled. Blue flies move quickly; large flies wearing a 2 badge need two hits. Avoid yellow striped bees, which cost four seconds if hit. Chain four successful fly kills to raise the multiplier. After clearing a shift, press NEXT SHIFT to continue. If you lose, retry that same shift. Clear all eight shifts to save the entire lunch service.
Controls
- Mouse click or touch tap: aim and swat a fly
- Arrow keys: move the swatter; Space or Enter: swing
- P, Escape, or pause button: pause and resume
- Music-note button: mute or enable sound
Tips
- Red rings warn that a fly is about to steal a bite. Prioritize those flies.
- Large flies need two swings. Let the swatter recover before hitting again.
- Keep your streak for score multipliers. Misses and bee hits break it.
- Yellow striped bees are harmless. Leave them alone.
About Buzz Off!
The Lunch Defence Club has one rule: no free bites. Protect a lovingly illustrated tabletop lunch from houseflies, quick blue zigzaggers, and bulky two-hit flies. Click or tap a fly to swing your mesh swatter. Flies circle the table, turn toward the plate, and show a red warning ring before stealing a bite. Hit your fly quota before time runs out, with at least one of five lunch portions remaining. Yellow bees are friendly visitors: hitting one costs four seconds and breaks your streak. Eight progressively busier shifts move between a sunny kitchen, garden picnic, and corner bakery. Consecutive hits build a score multiplier, while accuracy and remaining lunch earn up to three stars. Your highest score, unlocked shift, and star records are saved when storage is available. All art and sound are original and generated locally.
